Javelina Stadium

Javelina Stadium has long been the home of the TAMUK football team, as well as a house of horrors for opponents. Opened in 1952, the facility holds up to 12,500 fans. TAMUK routinely ranks among the best in Division II in attendance.

Since 1960 the Javelinas have a 230-62-2 record at the facility and have posted a perfect record at home on 14 different occassions. From 1967 to 1970 the Javelinas went a perfect 23-0 at Javelina Stadium. From 1974 to 1976 the Javs went 20-0. The school record for wins in a season is seven, set on six different occasions, most recently in 2003. The Javs last perfect season at home came during the 2002 season, a 6-0 mark.

The Javelinas have averaged over 11,000 fans in 2009 and 2010 and led NCAA Division II in attendance in 2010 with 11,989 per game
