2015 (Sr.): Appeared in 10 games, starting three. Finished second on the team with 562 yards and four rushing touchdowns on the season…added one receiving touchdown against incarnate word(sep.5)…. averaged 56.2 yards a game….Collected 50 or more rushing yards in seven games…finished with a season-high 116 yards, including a 66 yard touchdown against Missouri S&T(sep.12)…Season-high two touchdowns in the home opener against Missouri S&T(sep.12)

2014 (Jr.): Appeared in all 11 games, starting the final six… All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention after leading the team with 585 rushing yards… finished with 117 carries and five touchdowns, second most on team… recorded 40 or more rushing yards in seven games and 70 or more yards in four games… season-high 11 carries for 107 yards, including a 49-yard touchdown run at West Texas A&M (Oct. 25).

Los Medanos JC: Played two seasons at Los Medanos Junior College for head coach Chris Shipe… as a freshman, he ran for 846 yards on 123 carries and 10 touchdowns in nine games… 1,378 yards as a sophomore and 16 touchdowns… named all-league at running back and all-purpose… helped Los Medanos earn a conference title as a sophomore.
 
High School: Earned two varsity letters for Liberty Hill High School in Brentwood, Calif… first team all-conference running back for the Lions… also lettered as a member of the track and field team.
 
Personal: Son of Lawanda Burkhalter… two siblings, Makhi and Tiessa…majoring in criminology.
