2014-15 (Fr.): Spent the season as the tennis manager… named to Lone Star Conference Fall and Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
High School: Four-year letter earner at Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas… earned MVP freshman year… team won district freshman year and won team trophy in the spring of senior year.
 
Personal:  Born Feb. 29… daughter of Jose and Lydia Vela… chose Texas A&M-Kingsville because it is a nice campus and has excellent class sizes… admires her aunt because she is a successful person… majoring in sports business.
