2016: Started five games as a defensive back…appeared in all 12 games…totaled 21 tackles, 12 assisted and 1.5 for loss…recovered a fumble against Midwestern State on September 17…season-high six tackles against Western New Mexico on November 5…recorded four tackles, including one tackle for loss, against Incarnate Word on September 3

2015 (R-Jr.): Appeared in 10 games started in all…totaled 35 tackles, 28 solo and 7 assists…recovered one fumble…tallied 9 pass breakups…career high with seven solo tackles against Incarnate Word (Sept. 5)

2014 (R-So.): Started all 11 games in the secondary, collecting 16 solo tackles and 24 assisted tackles… led the team in pass breakups with nine… named All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention… season-high eight total tackles versus Eastern New Mexico (Oct. 4)… recorded three breakups against Angelo State (Oct. 18)… blocked a kick in the season opener versus Humboldt State (Sept. 6)… concluded season with an interception in the LSC Playoff win over McMurry (Nov. 15).
 
2013 (R-Fr.): Played in nine games, starting two… collected 24 total tackles, six pass breakups and forced one fumble… six solo tackles at Eastern New Mexico (10/26)… five tackles and two pass breakups in season finale versus Valdosta State (11/16).
 
2012 (Fr.): Redshirted, retaining freshman eligibility.
 
High School: Earned Second Team Class 4A Academic All-State and Second Team District 23-4A honors as a senior for B.F. Terry High School in Richmond, Texas… three-sport athlete, lettering in football, track and field and basketball… member of the National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Son of Lawrence and Blessing Amushie… aspires to become a physician assistant and work up to anesthesiologist… majoring in biomedical science (pre-med).
