2021-22: Started 25 times and appeared in 26 total games...Posted TAMUK's second-highest totals in rebounds (109) and blocked shots (17)...Reached 10 or more points in five games...Season-high 15 points came on Feb. 12th in win over UT Permian Basin...Set career-high with nine assists and added eight points and six rebounds on Jan. 22nd in victory over Oklahoma Christian.

2020-21: In the starting lineup for all 18 games...His 120 rebounds and 23 blocked shots were both team-highs...Shot .578 from the field, TAMUK's highest shooting percentage among those with at least 50 attempts...Posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds vs. UAFS on 12/12...His third career double-double came against UT Tyler on 2/24 with 12 points and 15 rebounds...Put together a streak of three straight 20+ point games that started on 1/30 vs. Cameron, when he recorded 21 points and nine rebounds.

2019-20: Started every game during his sophomore campaign...Topped the team in rebounds wih 172, averaging 5.7 per game with a 6.6 scoring average...Tied for the team-lead with 19 blocks...Added 30 assists and 13 steals...Put up a career-high 19 points on Nov. 30th, helping TAMUK top Texas A&M-Texarkana...Recorded his first career double-double with 10 & 10 on Feb. 15th against Texas A&M International.

2018-19: Made 17 starts as a freshman, playing in 26 games...Averaged 5.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game...Totaled 18 assists, 14 blocked shots and 10 steals...Scored 13 points on Jan. 12 against Eastern New Mexico in a 68-59 victory...Matched that point total in a rematch with the Greyhounds on Feb. 14th.

High School: Twice landed on the all-state first-team...In 2017, was picked as the District 30 5A MVP and Defensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Son of Dana Griffs and Steve Chayer...Studying Mechanical Engineering...A member of the National Honor Society.
