Biography
2017-18: Made one start while appearing in 15 games...Averaged 1.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game...Finished the season by snatching nine rebounds against Eastern New Mexico on Feb. 24th.
2016-17: Started all 31 games for the Javelinas where he averaged 15.7 minutes per game and 4.1 points per game...shot 62.2 percent from the floor and logged 22 steals...Taylor played big in the paint, swatting away 29 shots on the season and pulled down 3.6 rebounds per game, including a team-high 51 offensive boards...recorded a season-high 12 points at West Texas A&M (Jan. 14) and gathered two double-double...the first was against St. Edwards (Dec. 10) where he had ten points and ten rebounds, and the second was against Eastern New Mexico (Jan. 19) where he had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
2015-16: Appeared in 21 games with 4 starts for the Javelinas..averaging 2.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.4 blocks in 8.2 minutes per game..Had a career high 8 points shooting 4 for 5, adding 3 rebounds and 3 blocks in win over the Greyhounds (Jan.13)….
2014-15: Participated in 23 games as a key big man reserve, averaging 1.4 points and 1.9 rebounds in 8.2 minutes… shot 60.9 percent from the floor… collected 44 rebounds and 33 points as a true freshman… began collegiate career with two points and one rebound in 10 minutes in double overtime victory over Lake Erie (Nov. 14)… pulled down four rebounds in win at Eckerd (Dec. 15)… followed with six points and three rebounds in overtime loss to Tampa (Dec. 16)… finished with three rebounds, two points and a steal in first LSC win of year, a road bout at Eastern New Mexico (Jan. 17)… dished out two assists and pulled down five rebounds at West Texas A&M (Feb. 7)… two blocks and three rebounds vs. No. 8/7 Angelo State (Jan. 31)… back-to-back games with six points and five rebounds versus No. 11/14 Tarleton State (Feb. 12) and Cameron (Feb. 18)… combined for three blocks and 10 rebounds – five offensive – in two-game span.

nd 4A Defensive Player of the Year award… led the Buffaloes to their first regionals appearance and longest winning streak in the school’s history.
