2017-18: LSC Scholar Athlete…went 1-1 in singles play during the dual season, 2-2 overall…1-1 at No. 6 singles…2-0 in doubles play during the dual season, 5-2 overall…2-0 at No. 3 doubles…went 1-1 in 2-set singles matches…0-1 in 3-set singles matches
2016-17: Named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll...played in one singles match where she claimed a victory.
2015-16: Finished the season 4-10 in singles and 1-7 in doubles. In singles action, Urrutia won four of her last seven games including the final one against Catherine Murphy of the #4 ranked State College of Florida.
2014-15: Named to Lone Star Conference Fall and Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll… competed at the LSC Championship, defeating No. 35 Cameron’s Eugenia Sanchez and Dejana Veljic, 8-4, in doubles No. 3 Nadia Grlj (April 25).
High School: Played for New Efeso School in Madrid, Spain.
Club: Spent 10 years as a member of the Club Internacional de Tenis in Madrid, Spain.
Personal: Born Nov. 12… full name is Martina Urrutia Achleitner… daughter of Pablo Urrutia and Guillermina Achleitner… chose Texas A&M-Kingsville because it was a good opportunity for her to play tennis and pursue an undergraduate degree… majoring in finance.
