In 2012: During his first season as a Javelina, Diaz saw action in 21 games...He average 1.8 points and 1.0 rebounds in 11 minutes per outing...Diaz scored a career-high seven points on three occasions...His best season came against Midwestern State at home when he scored seven points and grabbed a season-high eight rebounds...Diaz also had seven points against Texas Lutheran and Abilene Christian.

High School: Diaz played one season of varsity basketball at Bishop Seabury Academy in Kansas for coach Ashley Battles...He was named first-team all-state and helped lead the team to the sub-state title...Averaged 13 points and eight rebounds a game as a senior.

Personal: The Colombian Native is the son of Tomas Diaz and Consuelo Gomez...He has one sibling, Valentina Diaz...Both of his parents have basketball backgrounds as both played for the national team in Colombia...His father has coached the national team and professional teams.
