2016: Appeared in 11 games…totaled 44 punts for a 39.4 yards per punt average…longest punt of 57 yards against Southern Arkansas on December 3…seven punts fielded by fair catch, 10 punts inside the 20-yard line and six punts over 50 yards…also had a 50-yard punt against Angelo State on October 1, West Texas A&M on October 8 and Western New Mexico on November 5…had four punts fielded inside the 20-yard line against Southern Arkansas on December 3

2015 (R-Jr.): Appeared is all 11 games as the placekicker and punter… average 37.0 yards/punt and eight fair catches… pinned 11 punts inside the 20.

2014 (R-So.): Did not appear in any games for the Javelinas… named to the Lone Star Conference Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
High School: Played two seasons of football at Converse Judson High School… Rockets captain and named all-district quarterback and punter… earned four letters as a baseball player… selected to the all-district team three times and all-area team once… all-area all-star game MVP.
 
Personal: Son of Edward and Nancy Hernandez… has a younger brother, Troy, and sister, Savannah… wants to continue working in oil field as an electrician engineer… chose Texas A&M-Kingsville because it is a great school for engineering and communications… admires his mother because she is the strongest person he knows… double major, pursuing degrees in communications and IT.
