Biography

2012: Shaw started all 12 games at offensive guard helping protect senior quarterbacks Nate Poppell and Bryan Ehrlich, who combined to post one of the top passing totals in school history. He will be entering his fourth season with the Javelinas as a regular in the offensive trenches. 2011: Shaw became a regular starter at right guard for the Javelinas. He helped block for All-American running back Jonathan Woodson and was part of a protection unit that allowed both Sherman Batiste and Robert Armstrong to earn first team all-conference honors at wide receiver. 2010: Shaw was a valuable reserve on the offensive line, but still saw action in five games. He earned valuable experience in his first year traveling with the team. 2009: Shaw redshirted his first year at Texas A&M-Kingsville. High School: Shaw prepped at Seven Lakes High School was listed among the Greater Houston Top 250 prospects list at #98, the Texas 5A Players to Watch and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football as a top prospect. He is also a second degree black belt in Taekwondo. Personal: Shaw is the son of Elvis and Maria Shaw and is studying management.
