KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team hits the road again, this time staying in the Lone Star State for an exhibition matchup against the TCU Horned Frogs at the Schollmaier Arena Wednesday night at 6:30 P.M.  

The Javelinas (0-3, 0-0 LSC) are heading into Wednesday's matchup after coming home from the Division II CCA Tip Off Tournament in Billings, Montana where they played three games taking on all nationally ranked squads including Gannon who is receiving votes. The Javelinas shot .322% from the field, .369% from beyond the arc and 6.51% from the charity stripe over the span of the tournament, also accumulating 120 rebounds and 10 blocks, besting their opponent in blocks and free-throw percentage.            

TCU (1-0, 0-0 Big 12) comes into Wednesday after a 76-56 victory over Oral Roberts University shooting 44.3% from the field and 39.1% from beyond the arc, also having 8 blocks on the day.

The Javelinas and Horned Frogs have met four times when the horned frogs were a part of the Texas Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (TAIAW). Wednesday the fifth time these squads square up with the all time record being tied up at 2-2, with the last match taking place Dec. 5, 1981.
