INDIANAPOLIS – For the third straight time, the Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team has punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament and the Javelinas will be the No. 3 seed in the South Central Region, it was announced on Monday.

The Javelinas first game will match them against the sixth-seeded Oklahoma Christian Eagles at 4 p.m. on Thursday. The second matchup in the regional pits the No. 2 seed, Texas A&M-Commerce against the No. 7 team, the St. Mary's Rattlers.

This is the first time in program history the Javelinas have reached three straight regional tournaments and it is sixth regional appearance overall.
