KINGSVILLE, Texas (Baseball) – Alex Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Jimmy Roche was 2-for-3 with three RBI in #RV Texas A&M University-Kingsville's (21-10, 7-2 LSC) 8-1 victory over Eastern New Mexico University (27-12, 5-6 LSC) Thursday evening at Nolan Ryan Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Eastern New Mexico struck first with a run in the top of the first inning but the Javelinas responded with a run in the bottom of the frame on a bases loaded hit by pitch to Hunter Perkins.

In the bottom of the second, the Javelinas scored two runs on two hits and in the third, the lead became 6-1, beginning with Perkins' leadoff solo shot – his second of the season.

Two more runs came around to score in the bottom of the fifth to make it a seven-run ballgame.

Perkins finished with two ribbies and Kohl Ullman scored two runs.
