Senior Day Saturday at 4 p.m.

KINGSVILLE, Texas (Women's Basketball) – Miscues allowed the Lady Buffs to dominate the second half as West Texas A&M University (20-6, 13-4 LSC) defeated Texas A&M University-Kingsville (11-12, 6-11 LSC) 70-49 Thursday evening in the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.
Angelica Wilson, Shaq Debose and Emmeri Archer led the Javelinas with 13 points, 10 points and 10 points, respectively, all off the bench as the second unit of the Blue and Gold outscored the Lady Buffs 39-13. However, West Texas A&M made the most of Kingsville's turnovers to take control of the game with 29 points off turnovers to TAMUK's  four. The 13 points for Jelly were a season-high and the 10 for Archer were also tops in her first season in a Javelina uniform.
