COMMERCE, Texas (Men's Basketball) – #RV Texas A&M University-Commerce (11-3, 1-0 LSC) extended its win streak to eight games, shooting 55.4 percent from the floor in a 92-68 victory over Texas A&M University-Kingsville (8-4, 0-1 LSC) on Wednesday evening in The Field House.

Troy Jones and
Cris Boleware scored 17 points apiece and
Will West added 10 points. Jones pulled down eight rebounds and
Marcus Frazier came off the bench with nine points.

Boleware provided much of the offense for the Javelinas in the first half, going 4-of-5 from three-point range for 12 points but Texas A&M-Kingsville trailed 49-31.

In the loss, Kingsville shot 85.4 percent from the charity stripe and connected on 10 three-pointers. For AMC, Bryant Crowder went 9-of-10 for 23 points, Everrett Pleasant added 18 and Anthony Adams and Craig Fofang combined for 23 points off the bench.

The Javelinas will return to the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court to host No. 9 Tarleton State University on Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. Saturday's game will be H-E-B Community Appreciation Day in the SPEC and admission is free to Javelina Nation so be sure to come support your Hogs!
