Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.

Ibrahim's 13 points in just 15 minutes of action led the Javelinas. The Houston native joined TaSheena Moore in double figures as Moore finished with 11 points on 5-8 shooting and also recorded two steals, two rebounds, a block and an assist. Jamesha Wade registered six points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.

"I was proud by the effort our girls put forth, but we had a breakdown defensively and it cost us," said head coach Wade Scott. "We have to be able to execute the adjustments made at halftime."

The Javelinas entered the half trailing 35-30, with Moore leading the way with seven points, two steals and an assist. Kyra Bauer, Ibrahim and Wade scored six points apiece in the first two periods.

Eastern New Mexico outscored the Hogs 17-9 in the third period to extend its lead as the Greyhounds clinched their first win of the conference slate.

Kassandra Harris led all scorers with 24 points after going 11-16 from the field and Miranda Moore dished out six assists.

The Javelinas head to Canyon to take on nationally-ranked West Texas A&M University on Saturday. The Buffs are coming off a stunning upset at the hands of Angelo State University tonight.
