Christian Caudle drove in a run in Friday's 6-1 loss to Angelo State University (30-14, 17-13 LSC) at Foster Field.
Texas A&M University-Kingsville (26-18, 20-10 LSC) still stands atop the LSC standings despite the loss.
Dean Fleitman came out of the 'pen to throw a scoreless eighth. Brett Tomko Award semifinalist battled each other in the three-game series opener but Steve Naemark (8-1) struck out nine in 8.0 innings to outduel

ASU struck first, taking a quick 1-0 lead in the opening inning but the Hogs responded with a run in the second to knot the game at 1-1. However, the Rams added two runs in the fourth and fifth and an insurance run in the seventh to take game one, 6-1.
