EDINBURG, Texas (Women's Basketball) – Micah Weaver came off the Javelina bench to provide 10 points and six rebounds in Wednesday evening's loss to NCAA Division I program University of Texas-Pan American (2-2), 86-36, at the UTPA Fieldhouse.
An exhibition game for the Javelinas, the Broncs jumped out to a 32-4 lead over the first 10 minutes.
Shawnte' Goff led the Broncs with 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting and finished with a career-high six steals. Tonisha Walker added 17 points on five three-pointers.
The Javelinas host Texas A&M International University in their home opener, Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. inside the Gil H. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.
