Lisa Cisneros

Cisneros is back in the blue and gold once again, and is entering her first year with the Javelina STUNT and Cheerleading staffs as an Assistant Coach. She began her career in the sport as a Javelina Cheerleader and has earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in kinesiology from the University, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree.

She brings more than two decades of coaching experience to Kingsville, including her time as a Teaching Assistant coaching TAMUK's cheer team. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at the University.

Her coaching career includes bringing home a National Title in the NCA National Championship (Small Co-Ed Intermediate Division) while coaching Holmes High School in San Antonio. In her most recent role, Cisneros served as the cheer coach for Alice Independent School District, where she helped the program rise to top five in the state at the UIL Championships after transitioning into 5A DII.

In addition to her coaching experience, Cisneros also owns a gym and has a strong background in strength and conditioning, having coached athletes of all ages in a variety of sports, including stunting and tumbling.
