Hanna Lantz is entering her 11th year with Texas A&M-Kingsville athletics as Associate Athletic Director for Academics & Compliance / SWA.
Joining the program in 2014, Lantz also serves as the department’s Senior Woman Administrator and Deputy Title IX Administrator. In this position, Lantz ensures that all parties involved with Javelina athletics follow within NCAA and Texas A&M-Kingsville rules and regulations.
During her time as the Coordinator of Student-Athlete Services, the department has seen an increase in the number of student-athletes, graduate assistants and athletic trainers graduating. There has also been an increase in academic achievement among athletes as well as department, team and individual G.P.A.’s increasing as well. This has been accomplished through Hanna’s partnerships across campus with such departments as Center for Student Success.
Lantz came to Texas A&M University-Kingsville after two years as the academic advisor and learning specialist at Fresno State University. During her time at Fresno, Lantz supervised and guided student-athletes on numerous teams for the Bulldogs towards their degrees. She also spent time as an academic intern at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. and as a tutor coordinator at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas, her alma mater.
Lantz earned her bachelors of science in agricultural development in 2008 from Stephen F. Austin as well as her masters in special education in 2012. Lantz received her Doctorates of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M-Kingsville in 2025. She resides in Kingsville.
