High School: Attended William J. Brennan HS where she placed third in the UIL State meet in the 100-meter dash in 2014. Richardson was an AAU National medalist and a member of the National Honor Society from 2013-15.

Personal: Deana is the daughter of Marlin and Tracye Richardson. Has one sibling named Cherrelle and is majoring in Biology/Nutrition.
