High School: Played for Westlake High School in Austin, Texas… led the Chaparrals to a 2013-14 District 5-5A Championship and fourth place finish in regionals… 2013-14 All-District 5-5A honoree… placed fifth in Region II Championships… shot a career low round of 69… placed in the top 25 in the 86th Texas State Junior Girls Championship in 2014.
Personal: Born July 11, 1997… daughter of Carlos and Roxanne De La Cruz… has a younger brother, Carlos Jr… chose Texas A&M-Kingsville because of the academic programs, class size, teacher/student ratio and its proximity to hometown… admires her parents because of their commitment to raising her and her siblings with strong Christian values… intends to major in business management and marketing.
