Biography
2020-21: Broke two program records during her senior year, setting career marks for most rounds played (87) and most counting scores (86)...Played in all seven tournaments as a senior...At the LSC Women's Championships, shot a one-under 71 in both the first and third rounds, the lowest 18-hole scores ever for a Javelina at the conference tournament...Finished the event with a four-over 220, the second-lowest 54-hole score in school history...Cared a 10-over 226 to take second at the PGA Works Collegiate Championship, matching her highest finish as a Javelina...Also finished in the top 20 at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate and the UTRGV Invitational.
2019-20: The only Javelina to play in all seven tournaments and 16 rounds of golf...Put together a career-best 78.38 stroke average, second on the roster, and led the team with 23 birdies...Took home a second-place finish at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate on Oct. 14th - 15th, her highest finish as a Javelina, shooting a four-over 146...Also finished in the top five at the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational on Sept. 30th - Oct. 1st with a score of three-over.
2018-19: Was in the lineup for all 11 tournaments during her sophomore season...Lake's stroke average of 79.44 was TAMUK's second-best mark...Collected five top 15 finishes...Capped the year with her highest finish of the season, taking seventh at the PGA Works Collegiate Championship on May 10th - 12th...Recorded her lowest 36-hole score on Oct. 22nd - 23rd at the Skyhawk Intercollegiate, shooting a four-over 150...Posted her best 18-hole score, a first round 72, on Sept. 10th at the Tarleton State Invitational, where she tied for 13th.
2017-18: Played in all 11 competitions during her freshman campaign...Completed the year with a stroke average of 83.5...Earned a pair of top 20 finishes...Tied for 20th with a 32-over 248 at the PGA Minority Collegiate Championships on May 11th -13th...Tied for eighth at the Jack Brown Memorial Tournament with a 37-over 253, contributing to the program's first-ever tournament victory...Shot a low round score of 77 at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate on Oct. 16th and duplicated that score at the UTRGV Invitational on March 6th.
High School: Helped lead her team to consecutive district titles...Qualified for the state championships two years in-a-row.
