Biography
2022: Competed in 28 matches for the Blue Gold and notched 16 wins...Crafted a streak of five straight victories from March 22nd - 26th, all of which were sweeps...Made the all-tournament team after going 4-0 at the Texas A&M-Kingsville Invitational...Knocked off six tandems from Division I squads.
2021: Appeared in four matches for the Javelinas, all of them in the fourth flight with Macie Satterwhite...Won all four of the matches she played in, including a 21-16, 19-21, 15-13 nail-biter over Stephen F. Austin on 2/26.
2020: Teamed up with Macy Berg in the second flight for all 12 Javelinas matches...Put together a record of 9-3...Collected sweeps over each of her first five opponents...Defeated Nebraska, Spring Hill and Southern Miss in comeback fashion after dropping the first set in all three instances...Ended the year with a 5-3 mark against Division I foes.
Sierra College: Led the team in kills with 331 in 2018...Was the team captain in 2018.
High School: An all-league selection for four straight years...Finished her high school career as Rio Americano's all-time leader in kills...A team captain for three seasons...Was a member of the Synergy Force club volleyball team, helping them reach junior nationals six times.
Personal: Daughter of Marcie and Roy Merlino...Seeking a Criminal Justice degree.
