Meesha Wade joins Wade Scott's staff after spending the last two years donning the Blue and Gold as a student-athlete on the women's basketball team.
During her senior season, Wade helped lead the Javelinas to their first Lone Star Conference Tournament berth since 2010. TAMUK then proceeded to spring an upset on top-seeded Eastern New Mexico, the first time an eight seed had defeated a one seed in tournament history. During her final season, Wade started every game but one and posted a points-per-game average of 9.1, second-best on the squad, while also leading the team in assists.
Over two seasons as a Javelina, Wade totaled 452 points to go with 202 rebounds and 125 assists.
