As A Junior In 2013: McGill played in 18 games with six starts — four as the designated hitter and two at catcher. She hit .192 with five hits in 26 at bats. The rising senior belted her first collegiate home run against Huston-Tillotson at home driving in two of her three runs on the season with the blast. She had two hits against Houston-Victoria. Defensively, she was perfect in 11 chances.

As A Sophormore In 2012: McGill saw action in 14 games behind the plate and in the outfield her second season... She hit .250, slugging .313 for the Javelinas... On defense, McGill had 37 putouts and had a perfect fielding average.

As A Freshman In 2011: McGill made nine starts at catcher as a true freshman... She had her first career hit in a win at Eastern New Mexico.

High School: McGill played softball at Hardin-Jefferson High School... She is a four-time all-district performer who earned Second Team All-District 21-3A honors as a senior... She was named to three all-tournament teams in her sophomore and junior seasons and earned the Blue Hawk Award for play- ing three varsity sports in an academic year... She was a highly decorated volleyball player earning all-district honors four times... She was a four-time Academic All-District 21-3A honoree and a member of the National Honor Society... She was a member of Student Council, Texas Association of Future Educators, Spanish Club, Homecoming Court and the A-B Honor Roll.

Personal: McGill is the daughter of Mike and Ruth McGill and is studying Chemical Engineering.
