2012:13: Jones played in all 26 contests for Kingsville with 14 starts. She finished as the team’s second-leading scorer and is the top returning scorer with 9.0 points a game. She posted double-digit points on 10 occasions. Jones had 31 points at A&M-Commerce which was the most by a Javelina in 2012-13. She was 9-of-11 from the floor including five 3-point baskets and hit 8-of-10 free throws. Jones was tied for second team with 36 steals with four swipes on two different occasions and fourth in rebounds with 4.2 a game grabbing seven twice.

Previous: Jones played two seasons at Redlands CC and earned Third Team All-Conference Region II honors in 2011-12. She averaged 14.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.9 steals per game as a sophomore. She shot 42 percent from the field and made 61 three-pointers on the season. As a freshman, she averaged 7.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.

High School: Jones is from Oklahoma City, OK where she played for four years at Putnam City North High School. She earned Oklahoma Big All-City Team honors as a senior and was her team’s defensive player of the year on two occasions. She helped lead the team to Regional and Area titles as a senior.

Personal: Jones is the daughter of Patrick and Carla Jones and is studying kinesiology.
