2019: Started every game for the Javelinas for the second consecutive year...Led the team and finished second in the LSC with 14 home runs, breaking the single-season record she set as a junior...Her 57 RBIs were the league's third-highest total and her 14 doubles and 125 total bases also placed her in the top 10...Batted .345 for the year...Had a 3-for-3 day with 4 RBIs and two runs scored on Feb. 1st against Southeastern Okla...Cracked her second career grand slam on Feb. 24th against Tarleton...Drove in four runs against Oklahoma Christian on May 9th in the first game of the South Central Regional...Her three-run double against West Texas A&M in the sixth inning on May 10th broke open an 8-3 Javelina win...Homered twice and was a member of the All-Tournament Team at the College World Series...Finished her career as the program's all-time leader in eight different statistics, including home runs (45), RBIs (194) and games played (221).
2018: Started all 55 games for the Javelinas...Broke the program record for home runs in a season with 13...Led the team 43 RBIs, a .624 slugging percentage and four sacrifice flies...Tied for the team-lead with 15 doubles...Behind the plate, posted a .983 fielding percentage with 15 assists...Homered in consecutive games on Feb. 9th, driving in two runs in each contest...Blasted a pair of round-trippers at Midwestern State on Feb. 25th, totaling five RBIs...Pounded out eight doubles in seven games from April 6th - 14th...Drove in seven runs on seven hits in three games at Eastern New Mexico on April 13th - 14th...Launched her final home run of the season on April 18th at Western New Mexico while also scoring twice and knocking in three runs...Set a new school record for career homers with 31 and career RBIs with 137...Her eight career sacrifice flies are tied the most in TAMUK's history...A total of 71 career extra-base hits puts Chapa just one behind Ria Hoog's program's record in that category...Also moved into third on the program's all-time list with 39 doubles, 310 total bases and a .603 slugging percentage.
2017: Garnered second consecutive All-LSC second-team honor...started 49 games...a batting average of .358 tied for second-highest on the team and eight home runs tied for first...logged 53 hits including seven doubles, registired a team-high 39 RBIs, and crossed home plate 19 times...tallied 84 total bases and had a .568 slugging percentage...from the backstop position, Chapa had 192 putouts and 14 assists for a .967 fielding percentage and caught four stealing.
2016: Division II Conference Commissioner's Association All-America (third team). Becomes the first D2CCA All-American in program history...Named Division II Conference Commissioner's Association All-South Central Region First Team and All-Lone Star Conference Second Team...In debut season, Chapa tied for a team high batting average of .345 and slugging percentage of .610...set a new single season mark of 55 RBI, and had a team high of 10 dingers, one shy of tying the schools single-season record...led Texas A&M University-Kingsville with 61 hits,17 doubles, and crossed the dish 36 times...recorded 16 multiple hit games and led club with11 multiple RBI games including two games with five or more ribbies...will enter the 2017 season on an 11-game hitting streak and stole two bases on two attempts...batted .650 with 11 RBI in six games to be selected LSC Hitter of the Week April 19...McAllen native concluded season with 158 putouts, 18 assists, ten errors and a fielding percentage of .946.
High School: Lettered four years at Sharyland High School...helped lead the Rattlers to a District Championship in 2012 and 2013 and a Bi-District Championship in 2014...Golden Glove winner in 2013 and 2014...Sharyland MVP in 2014...All-Rio Grande Valley Newcomer in 2012...All-Rio Grande Valley Catcher in 2013...30-5A District Offensive Player in 2013...holds school record for most homeruns in a single season.
