Haley Boyett

  • Title
    Softball Graduate Assistant
Prior to the start of the 2020 season, former Javelina outfielder Haley Boyett returned to the program as a graduate assistant.

In Boyett's first full season on Craig Nicholson's staff, she helped guide the Javelinas to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive time, just the second time they've accomplished that feat since the program's inception. She also helped coach a Javelina lineup that hit .324, third-best in the Lone Star Conference and 29th in Division II. TAMUK had six players earn All-LSC recognition, including four all-conference first-team honorees.

Javelina fans should be plenty familiar with Boyett, who spent four seasons as the team's starting centerfielder and is among the program's all-time leaders in a bevy of statistics, including runs scored, hits, on-base percentage and steals. She was also an all-league performer, being named to the All-Lone Star Conference first-team in 2017 and the LSC Golden Glove team twice.
