Wallace re-joins the track and field coaching staff ahead of the 2025-26 season following an esteemed career as a multi-event specialist for the Javelinas. 

Wallace previously spent time on TAMUK's coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant following his final season of competition as a student-athlete. From March, 2023 to May, 2023 he helped facilitating practices, conducting mental training workshops for the athletes. He also coached two Division II All-Americans in Hurdles and Pole Vault. Assisted with TAMUK's men's 4x4 school record time (3:08.48), and coached a Female Triple jumper with a DII provisional mark of 12.09m.

He then went to coach as Greenville University. He trained all four jumping events for the men and women's teams. They were undefeated Conference Champions Men/Women. Coached four NCAA Division III All-Americans. Had four NCAA National Qualifiers, 22 individual Conference Champions, and had seven conference records.

His farewell season saw Wallace place ninth in the heptathlon at the 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, cementing his status as an All-American. Other career accolades include winning the 2020 Lone Star Conference heptathlon championship and helping the men's squad to the 2018 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championship. Additionally, he was a six-time All-LSC selection across four indoor and four outdoor seasons.
