High School: Received seven combined letters in cross country and track and field at Incarnate Word Academy in Corpus Christi, Texas... Was captain of the cross country and track and field teams his senior and junior years... Helped lead the Angels to a runner-up finish at state meet in 2014... Received Coaches Award in cross country as a junior.
Personal:Â Son of Phil Nicholson and Catherine Norrell... Has tthree younger brothers, Joseph, Matthew and William, and a younger sister, Elizabeth... His cousin, John Nicholson, played baseball for three years are Loyola University-New Orleans... Intends to major in ranch and wildlife management... Plans to be a game warden or ranch manager after college.
