In 2013: Duran appeared in 45 games starting 27 in the outfield. He finished gthe season with a .245 average with 11 RBI and 20 runs scored. Duran was second on the team with 16 stolen bases. The outfielder posted two multi-hit games with three against Fisther College and two at Eastern New Mexico. He had two, 2-RBI contests. Duran came off the bench to hit an inside the park home run in second game of a doubleheader with Fisher on March 10.

In 2012: Duran played in 42 games with 20 starts. He averaged .235, with two homers, 16 RBI, and 12 runs. Duran had three, 2-hit games. He homered against St. Mary’s and West Texas A&M and had three runs batted in in one game at Tarleton.

In 2011: Duran transferred to Kingsville in January. He was hitting .222 on March 26, but finished the season on a tear hitting .400 the rest of the way. He led the team with a .353 average. He went 3-for-5 with two runs, three RBI’s and a double against West Texas A&M and Cameron. He had four hits, scored three times and drove in three against Southwestern Oklahoma. He went 3-for-7 in the LSC Tournament.

High School: Duran earned 1st-team, all-district honors at James Madison HS as a senior. He was an honorable mention all-district selection in basketball. Led baseball team to a state playoff appearance.

Personal: Duran is the son of Elias and Anita Duran and is studying Kinesiology.
