Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

2018: Made eight starts to go with 25 total games played...Crafted a .333 average with 14 hits in 42 at-bats and nine RBIs...Started the season by collecting seven hits in 11 at-bats with four RBIs in her first four games...Drove in a pair against Texas A&M International on Feb. 2nd, the latter of which proved to be the winning run...Singled in a pair as a pinch-hitter against St. Mary's on April 6th.

2017: Will redshirt due to injury.

High School: Attended PSJA North HS where she was the 31-5A All-District Newcomer of the Year (2010-2011), 31-5A All-District 1st Team Shortstop (2011-2012), 31-5A All-District Offensive Player of the Year (2012-2013), 31-5A All-District 1st Team Shortstop (2013-2014) and All-Valley 2nd Team Shortstop (2013-2014). 

Transfer: Transferred from the University of Arkansas. At Arkansas, Alemán made the Spring SEC Honor Roll (2015-2016).

Personal: Ileana loves romantic movies. Some of her favorite music genres are Hip-Hop and R&B. Hobbies of hers consist of reading and long walks down the aisles of Barnes & Nobles.
