For Mikey Bielamowicz, 2017-18 will be his first year on Jason Gonzales's coaching staff. He'll function as the program's first base coach and assist with with catchers and infielders.
Bielamowicz comes to Kingsville from Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he spent last season working with the catchers and infielders. He spent 2016 on the coaching staff at Palo Duro Dillas in the Great Southwest Collegiate League.
He spent four years on the baseball team at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor as a pitcher and a catcher. Bielamowicz was selected three times for the American Southwest Conference All-Academic Team. He Majored in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Professional Practices and Pedagogy.
Bielamowicz is a native of Groesbeck, Texas. He is pursuing a Masters in Kinesiology.
