In Memory of Travis Madden
Travis Madden (#37) passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011. The freshman right-handed pitcher was in his first semester at Texas A&M-Kingsville. He was studying Chemical Engineering.
Madden, an Inez, TX native, was a three-year letterman and two-time defensive MVP at Industrial High School. He was a two-time first team all-district and two-time second team All-State pitcher. He set the school single season record for strikeouts and no-hitters.
Madden is survived by parents, Keith and Carol Madden and sisters, Lauren and Emily.
The Javelinas have dedicated the 2012 season to the memory of Travis.
