2015 (Sr.): Appeared in 19 games, starting four… finished 1-3 with a 4.60 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 31.1 innings… threw a scoreless inning in the season opener versus Ouachita Baptist (Feb. 5)… struck out four in 3.2 innings in win over Newman (Feb. 13)… five consecutive scoreless appearances from March 4-March 22… earned first victory of season in second start of season, going 6.0 innings in win over Cameron (April 11)… twelve scoreless appearances.
 
2014 (Jr.): Made 12 appearances out of the bullpen, finishing 0-1 with a 3.95 earned run average… struck out 13 hitters in 13.2 innings… struck out two in five games… eight scoreless appearances, including career-high 3.0 innings in loss to West Texas A&M (May 16)… finished his debut season with 5.0 scoreless innings… allowed just two extra-base hits and did not give up a home run.
 
NCTC: Played two seasons for Scott Harp at North Central Texas College… made 18 appearances and started two games.
 
High School: Three-time all-district selection for the Spring High School baseball squad… helped lead the Lions to the second round of the playoffs.
 
Personal: Son of Leigh Ann and Oscar Prieto… has a sister, Elizabeth… studying natural gas engineering.
