Previous: Attended Temple College in Temple, Texas where she played one season of softball.

High School: Two sports athlete at Harlingen High School in Harlingen, Texas… earned four varsity letters in softball and two varsity letters in volleyball… Hawks appeared in the Sweet 16 Playoffs and were named Bi-District Champions Lugo’s freshman year, appeared in the Regional Quarterfinals her sophomore year, Area Champion Playoffs her junior year, and again appeared in the Sweet 16 Playoffs and were named Bi-District Champions  her senior year… earned the Newcomer of the Year Award in the 32-5A district and 2^nd Team 32-5A All-District Short Stop Award her freshman year, 2^nd Team 32-5A All-District Short Stop Award her sophomore year, 1^st Team 32-5A All District Short Stop Award her junior year, and 1^st Team 32-5A All-District 3^rd Base Award and All-Valley Defensive Player of the Year in the 32-5A district her senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Jesse and Moraima Lugo… born on December 20, 1994… has a sister named Bernadette Lugo… majoring in Kinesiology.
