Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

In 2013: Tyler appeared in 17 games in relief, which was third most on the Javelinas and second amongst returnees. The senior recorded no decisions and an 8.35 ERA. His longest outing of the season was two innings of scoreless relief versus Texas A&M International. He struckout a season-high four in the game and finished the year with 16 Ks. Tyler did not allow an earned run in nine of his appearances and he permitted more than a run just three times.

Previous: Tyler has spent time at Texas Lutheran, UH-Victoria and Weatherford College.

High School: Tyler played baseball at Yoakum High School. He was a two-time all-district pitcher and also earned academic all-district honors. He helped lead his team to a district and regional championship.

Personal: Tyler is the son of Kenny and Jennifer Tyler and is studying journalism.
