As A Junior In 2013: Denney appeared in 24 games primarily as a designated hitter with four appearances on the mound. She hit .203 with 22 games started at DH driving in six six runs with two runs scored. She recorded two multi-hit games and a 2-run double against Huston-Tillotson. The rising senior posted two hits at Houston-Victoria and at home versus Abilene Christian. Denney made one start on the mound in the third game of the season and allowed four runs on a grand slam before leaving without recording an out to finish 0-1 on the season. She had three other appearances including a scoreless inning of work against Huston-Tillotson.

As A Sophomore In 2012: Denney toed the rubber in 22 games last season as a sophomore. She picked up her first season win at home during the Texas A&M International win, allowing only four hits and one run, striking out five. Overall she threw two complete games, pitched 60.1 innings, and struck out 15 batters.

As A Freshman In 2011: Denney picked up a win in her first career appearance in the circle when she tossed 4.0 shutout innings in a win over Southern Arkansas. She pitched two perfect innings against Pan- handle State to earn her first save.

High School: Denney earned three letters in softball at Alvin High School. She was a member of the 2008 Texas 5A state championship team.

Personal: Denney is the daughter of Kevin and LaGwena Denney and is studying psychology and sociol- ogy. Her cousin, Jerico Rogers, plays football at the University of Oklahoma.
