Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

2012-13: As a junior, Gulbe averaged 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds a contest in 22 appearances. She started the first seven games of her Kingsville career. Gulbe had two, double-digit scoring performances with 16 points in her debut against Division I UTPA. Her second game in double figures was a 13-point performance versus Texas Woman’s in which she hit a season-best three, 3-point field goals. On the glass, Gulbe had a season-high eight rebounds on two separate occasions — at A&M International and versus Our Lady of the Lake. She finished with two steals in five separate games.

Previous: Gulbe played two years at Casper College and helped the Thunderbirds to a pair of conference titles. As a freshman the squad finished ninth in the country. The team advanced to the semifinals of the Region IX Tournament during her sophomore campaign. She averaged 6.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 2011-12.

High School: Gulbe is a guard from Riga, Latvia and graduated from Agenskalna Gimnazija in 2010. She has played for both the U-18 and U-20 Latvian national teams.

Personal: Gulbe is the daughter of Anita Gulbe and is studying business management. Her brothers, Maris and Martins, both play professional basketball in Europe.
