KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team prepares for the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps as they will face off Sunday at 1:00 P.M.
The Javelinas (4-6, 0-3 LSC) are heading into Tuesday's matchup after dropping their last one 74-86 to the West Texas Lady Buffs. The Javelinas shot 48.2% from the field and 46.2% from beyond the arc, in a game that saw the blue and gold end their streak of out shooting their opponent.
Lubbock Christian (7-3, 2-1 LSC) comes into Tuesday after a 60-65 loss at the hands of the Texas A&M-International Dustdevils, where they shot 42.9% from the field and 35.7% from three.
A fairly new foe in Lubbock Christian, the Javelinas and Lady Chaps have only met 4 total times dating back to the 2019-2020 season. The Lady chaps hold the overall matchup with a 3-1 all-time record. The last matchup between these squads being held in Frisco, Texas where the Lady Chaps came out on top 74-72-60.
