KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team prepares for the UTPB Falcons as they will face off Saturday at 1:00 P.M.

The Javelinas (4-4, 0-1 LSC) are heading into Saturday's matchup after a close 66-65 game which saw the Angelo State Rambelles sneak away with the win. The Javelinas shot 38.1% from the field and 27.8% from beyond the arc, in a game that saw the blue and gold out shoot their opponent  going down to the wire.

UTPB (4-2, 0-1 LSC) comes into Saturday after a 78-84 loss at the hands of the Texas A&M International Dustdevils, where they shot 46.8% from the field and 20.8% from three.

The Javelinas and Falcons are familiar with one another as they have met 14 times. The Javelinas holding the overall matchup with a 10-4 all time record. The last matchup between these squads being held in Odessa, Texas where the Javelinas took it 65-55.
