KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team prepares for day two of the St. Mary's Thanksgiving Classic where they will face off against the Missouri Western State Griffons Saturday at 2:00 PM CT at the Bill Greehey Arena on the campus of St. Mary's University.

The Javelinas (3-3, 0-0 LSC) are heading into Saturday's matchup after taking down the Oklahoma Baptist Bison 68-62. The Javelinas shot 48.9% from the field and 50.0% from beyond the arc, in a game that also saw the blue and gold out rebounding their opponent 36-30.

Missouri Western State (4-0, 0-0 MIAA) comes into Saturday after a 52-47 victory over the host institution St. Mary's Rattlers shooting 32.7% from the field and 9.5% from three, leading the Rattlers in all but rebounds on the day.

The Javelinas and Griffons have never met, this being the first matchup between the two squads. Their history starts Saturday 0-0 all-time.
