• Maighan Hedge, Natalie Halbleib and Ava Battese spearhead the offensive look for CU

Last Time Out
• TAMUK snapped a seven-game skid with a 73-65 win over UTPB, but fell right back into a 62-59 loss to WNMU to move into a tie for the eighth seed in the LSC Tournament
• Bri-Anna Soliz grabbed her third double-double of the year in the contest against the Falcons with 13 points and 11 rebounds
• Rachel Tapps led the Javelinas with 16 points in the win over UTPB, while Ravae Payne poured on 15 points off the bench
• Soliz was one rebound shy of another double-double as she added 15 points and nine rebounds in the loss to the Mustangs
• Tapps added 10 points in the contest against WNMU, finishing her weekend 16-20 from the line
 
LSC Player of the Week
• Brynae Thompson took home LSC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Jan. 7 after her 28-point performance against the Pioneers
• It was the first LSC honor for a Javelina since Nov. 29, 2016, when Kaylin Roher took home the Defensive Player of the Week award from the conference
• The last Javelina to take home LSC Offensive Player of the Week was Rosalie Cutri on Dec. 17, 2013
 
Double Vision
• Bri-Anna Soliz posted the first double-double of the year for the Javelinas in the 86-84 upset over then-No. 2 West Texas A&M on January 10, with 13 points and 15 rebounds
• Soliz's second double-double came courtesy of the 71-67 win over MSU Texas on January 24 where she tallied 16 points and 12 rebounds in the contest
• Danielle Meador secured the second double-double of the year with 11 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Western New Mexico on January 17
• Meador posted her second double-double of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the loss to Cameron on January 26
• Soliz grabbed her third double-double in the win over UTPB at 13 points and 11 boards
 
Playoff Picture
• TAMUK is currently tied with WNMU for the eighth spot in the LSC standings at 6-12
• The Javelinas own the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Mustangs courtesy of the win over West Texas A&M on Jan. 10
• The magic number for TAMUK is two, with either a win over CU combined with an WNMU loss to TSU, or wins over CU and MSU Texas, or WNMU losses to TSU and A&M-Commerce
