KINGSVILLE, Texas (Women's Basketball) – Kaylin Roher scored 19 points after going 7-14 from the field and senior
Kyra Bauer added 10 in Texas A&M University-Kingsville's (5-21, 0-16 LSC) season finale versus Angelo State University (19-7, 12-4 LSC) Saturday evening at the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court. The Rambelles defeated the Javelinas 71-56.
Bauer added five rebounds, three steals and two assists,
Kaylee Kana put up eight points and eight rebounds and
TaSheena Moore dished out five assists in the season ending contest.
Angelo State came out to an 18-9 lead in the first period and took a 33-17 lead into the half. Kingsville outscored the Belles in the third, 16-12, to cut its deficit, which was by as much as 17, to eight.
Roher's 19 points are the second most scored this season and the junior finished with 60 three-pointers, eighth most in single season history. She led the team in scoring with 11.8 points per game.
Bauer concluded her career averaging 8.1 points and 4.1 rebounds this season and
Ashley Viera added 3.7 points and 1.7 rebounds.
The Javelinas concluded their second season under head coach
