KINGSVILLE, Texas – After a 14-day break during exams, the Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball returns to action on Saturday evening as it hosts South Texas rival Texas A&M International at 7 p.m. on Kingsville Hampton Inn Court. The game is sponsored by Blake Fulenwider Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep.

The Javelinas, who won a double-overtime thriller in Laredo against the Dustdevils in their last game on Nov. 30, enter the contest with a 4-3 record. International is 7-1 with the lone loss coming to Kingsville.

Thus far the duo of
Lindsey Mahone and
Rosalie Cutri lead the Javelinas in scoring, rebounding and steals. In the win over the Dustdevils, the twosome each posted double-doubles. Mahone, who averages a team-best 14.9 points, had 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Cutri had 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Ashley Viera also averages 10.1 points a game.
Samantha Chacon, who had 32 points in a losing effort two weeks ago, averages 16.8 points a game. Malika Jackson is second on the team in scoring with 14.6. She is just missing averaging a double-double with 9.9 rebounds a contest.
