Kingsville – The Javelinas put together a furious second half rally but fell short in falling to Angelo State 73-57 at Kleberg Bank Court.
Lana Toki had 15 points and Dyana Bullinger added 13 to lead Texas A&M-Kingsville.
The Javelinas trailed 40-24 at the half and were down 56-34 with 11:11 remaining in the game, but put together a 21-6 run to cut the advantage to seven, 62-55 with 3:44 remaining. Toki scored 8 of her points during the run.
But Angelo State outscored the Javelinas 11-2 to finish the game.
Texas A&M-Kingsville closes out the season at home Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. against Abilene Christian.
