Harper was crowned the heptathlon champion at the Robert W. Plaster Center for the third consecutive year, besting a slew of All-Americans as well as conference foes with a point total of 5,451 that slots him atop the Division II leaderboard. He scored over 800 points in three of the seven events, winning both the pole vault and 60m hurdles portion of the combined event competition while placing second in the 60m dash.
Additionally, his hurdle time of 8.13 meets the NCAA provisional standard and ranks him ninth on the national performance list.
This was the second time Harper was named LSC Athlete of the Week, having done so during the 2020 campaign after he set a facility record in the heptathlon at the Bearcat Open with a point total of 5,561, his personal-best score and second-best mark in school history.
