Shows snapped the TAMUK record in the pentathlon en route to her league honor as the San Antonio native snagged 3,001 points off five events, bettering the previous school record she set at last year’s LSC meet by 58 points.

Her best events included the 60m hurdles, where she clocked in a 9.99 and earned 714 points, and the 800m run that saw her finish with a time of 2:34.61 and gain 636 points to cement the new record.
