Fountain claimed fifth in the men’s 8k at the Sixth Annual OLLU Cross Country Invitational in San Antonio with an average-mile time of 5:03.3 en route to a final time of 25:06.7. His career-best etched his name in the Javelina record books as his time represents the third-fastest ever ran by a member of the Blue and Gold, just behind Kiya Dandena’s mark of 24:45.96.
